The present invention relates to a vascular tissue classification apparatus of ultrasound images and a vascular tissue classification method using the same. According to the present invention, the vascular tissue classification method using the vascular tissue classification apparatus comprises the steps of: extracting intensity per pixel from the ultrasound images of blood vessels of a subject； selecting a calcifying candidate group by using the intensity per pixel and removing an acoustic shadow region included in the ultrasound images by using the selected calcifying candidate group； classifying into any one of a fibrous tissue, a fibrotic adipose tissue, a necrotic tissue, and a calcified tissue by using a feature vector of the pixels of the ultrasound images from which the acoustic shadow region has been removed； and reclassifying into any one of the fibrous tissue, the fibrotic adipose tissue, the necrotic tissue, and the calcified tissue by comparing the pixels with a predetermined reference value when classified into the fibrous tissue or the fibrotic adipose tissue or the calcified tissue. Accordingly, the blood vessels of the subject are able to be identified by analyzing the ultrasound images of the blood vessels. More specifically, the vascular tissues are classified by each pixel of the images through multiple classification steps, and the classification results are reviewed through reclassification steps, thereby exhibiting superior accuracy compared to a conventional analysis of the ultrasound images of the blood vessels.본 발명은 초음파 영상의 혈관 조직 분류 장치 및 이를 이용한 혈관 조직 분류 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 혈관 조직 분류 장치를 이용한 혈관 조직 분류 방법에 있어서, 혈관 조직 분류 방법은 피측정자의 혈관을 촬영한 초음파 영상으로부터 픽셀별 인텐시티(intensity)를 추출하는 단계, 상기 픽셀별 인텐시티를 이용하여 석회화 후보군을 선별하고, 선별된 석회화 후보군을 이용하여 상기 초음파 영상에 포함된 음향 음영 영역을 제거하는 단계, 상기 음향 음영 영역이 제거된 초음파 영상의 픽셀들의 특징 벡터를 이용하여 섬유성 조직, 섬유성 지방 조직, 괴사성 조직 및 석회화 조직 중 어느 하나로 분류하는 단계, 그리고 상기 섬유성 조직 또는 섬유성 지방 조직 또는 석회화 조직으로 분류된 경우, 해당 픽셀들과 기 설정된 기준값을 비교하여 섬유성 조직, 섬유성 지방 조직
