PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prosthesis for living bodies being applied to a site such as the hip joint to which a large load (a moment) is applied by improving a rotation resistance of a stem part, and also facilitating the osteotomy for implanting the stem part.SOLUTION: This prosthesis for living bodies includes the stem part to be inserted into the medullary cavity. The stem part includes a straight portion that is located at the tip end side of the stem part and has a straight shape, and a tapered portion that is located at the root side of the stem part and is taperedly inclined toward the tip end side.
