The present invention provides a device and a method for checking a uterine contraction degree by determining a useful electromyography (EMG) signal by distinguishing an emotion state or an intentional operation type of a pregnant woman. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the device for checking a uterine contraction degree based on electroencephalogram (EEG) and EMG signals comprises: an EEG measurement part measuring a brainwave signal of a pregnant woman； an EMG measurement part attached to the abdomen of the pregnant woman, and measuring the uterine contraction degree of the pregnant woman； and a diagnosis information processing part generating diagnosis information based on the brainwave signal and the uterine contraction degree of the pregnant woman.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017실시예들은 임산부의 뇌파 신호를 측정하는 EEG 측정부, 임산부의 복부에 부착되어, 임산부의 자궁 수축도를 측정하는 EMG(Electromyography) 측정부, 및 상기 임산부의 뇌파 신호 및 자궁 수축도를 기초로 진단정보를 생성하는 진단정보 처리부를 포함하는 EEG 및 EMG 신호에 기반한 자궁 수축도 검사 장치 및 이를 이용한 검사 방법에 관련된다.
