According to the present invention, Staphylococcus epidermidis R0002 has antibacterial activity against various pathogenic bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus, which cause food poisoning, and also has an antagonistic effect against antibiotic-resistant bacteria. Antagonistic substances derived from a strain have excellent stability at a wide range of temperature and pH.
