The present invention relates to a shovel having a foot tread and an auxiliary handle, and more specifically, to a shovel having a shovel blade, a shovel shaft and a handle, the shovel comprising: a foot tread formed to protrude in a vertical upper direction from both side edges and from the top edge of the shovel blade and an auxiliary handle having one end fixed to both sides of a joint of the shovel blade. According to the present invention, since a foot tread is formed on the top of the shovel blade, an area touched by a sole of a worker is increased when the worker steps on the shovel to apply force to the shovel, so pain or fatigue occurring in the sole is prevented. Further, the foot tread prevents soil or the like on the shovel blade from going out to the outside over the shovel blade, so work efficiency can be increased. Furthermore, since a handle is formed in the joint of the shovel blade to be slanting in the body direction of a worker, the wrists maintain a straight line during work, and burden applicable to the wrists may be prevented. Also, since a work can be performed without an excessive bending of upper body of a worker, burden applicable to the waist of the worker may be prevented.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016본 발명은 발 디딤판과 보조 손잡이를 구비한 삽에 관한 것으로서, 특히 삽날과, 삽자루 및 손잡이를 구비하는 삽에 있어서, 상기 삽날의 양측면 테두리와 상단 테두리에서 수직 상방향으로 돌출 형성되는 발 디딤판과 삽날의 연결부 양측에 일단이 고정되는 보조 손잡이를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.상기와 같은 본 발명에 따르면 삽날의 상단에 발 디딤판을 형성함으로써 작업자가 발을 올려놓고 힘을 가할 때 발바닥이 닿는 면적이 넓어져 발바닥에 통증이 발생하거나 피뢰감이 발생하는 것을 방지하고, 발 디딤판이 삽날 위의 흙 등이 삽날을 타고 외부로 빠져나가는 것을 방지하여 작업 효율을 증대시킬 수 있고, 또한 삽날의 연결부에 손잡이를 형성하고, 손잡이를 몸쪽으로 경사지게 형성함으로써 작업시 손목이 일직선을 유지하기 때문에 손목에 무리가 가는 것을 방지하며, 허리를 상대적으로 덜 숙여도 작업이 가능하기 때문에 허리에 많은 부담이 발생하는 것을 방지할 수 있다.
