PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support for a vegetation shelf, which can achieve an impressive scene with a sense of openness permitting a good view of plants from a side without weakening the three-dimensional effect or dynamism of the whole vegetation shelf and without leakage of vegetation materials from a side surface.SOLUTION: The support for the vegetation shelf includes: a support body 3 shelf board insertion parts 4 which are formed on the right and left sides of the support body 3, to which a fitting part on the lower side of the shelf board is fitted and whose front surface and side surfaces are open shelf board mounting parts 7 which project forward from the front surface of the support body 3 and whose upper and side surfaces are open for receiving and placing the lower surface of the part projecting in the front of the support body 3 of the shelf board fitted to the shelf board fitting part 4 and side surface closing walls 8 disposed between the shelf board mounting part 7 and the support body 3 for closing the opened surface between the part projecting in the front of the support body 3 of the shelf board fitted to the shelf board fitting part 4 and the front surface of the support body 3.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】側面側からも植物がよく見えた開放感のある印象景観を実現し、植生棚全体の立体感、躍動感を弱めることなく、側面からの植生材の流出が生じない植生棚用支柱を提供する。【解決手段】支柱本体3と、この支柱本体3の左右両側に形成された、棚板の下方側である嵌り部が嵌る箇所である、前面と側面が開放形態である棚板差し込み部4と、この棚板差し込み部4に嵌った前記棚板の支柱本体3の前方に突出した部位の下面を載せ受ける、支柱本体3の前面から前方に突出設けた、上面と側面が開放形態である棚板載り部7と、この棚板載り部7と支柱本体3の前面との間に設けた、前記棚板差し込み部4に嵌った前記棚板の支柱本体3の前方に突出した部位と支柱本体3の前面の間の開放面を塞ぐための側面塞ぎ壁8とから構成されている。【選択図】図1
