A tablet printing device 1 includes a conveying disk 5 that conveys a tablet 3 while sucking and supporting a side surface 9 of the tablet 3 and an inkjet head 6 capable of i applying print processing to the front and back surfaces 7a and 7b of the tablet 3 conveyed by the conveying disk 5. The tablet 3 is conveyed while being sucked to and supported by the conveying disk 4 at its front and back surfaces 7a and 7b and subjected to inspection of the side surface 9 by a side surface inspection device 15. The tablet 3 is transferred from the conveying disk 4 to the conveying disk 5 at a tablet delivery part 8 and then sucked to and supported by a suction hole 18 formed in an end surface 5a of the conveying disk 5 with the front and back surfaces 7a and 7b fully exposed. Thereafter, the front and back surfaces 7a and 7b of the tablet 3 are subjected to print processing at the same time by the inkjet head 6, followed by print inspection, and only a non-defective tablet is discharged through a non-defective tablet discharge part 10.
