The invention relates to an ophthalmological measuring system for obtainingthe biometric data of an eye. The inventive ophthalmological measuring systemfor obtaining the biometric data of an eye in view of the pre-operative determinationof the replacement lens or supplementary lens or refractive operations consistsof a combination of a measuring instrument (1) based on ultrasound, an opticalmeasuring instrument (2), and an evaluation unit (3), measuring values of theoptical measuring instrument (2) and/or of the measuring instrument (1) basedon ultrasound being used by the evaluation unit (3) for determining the biometricdata of an eye. The present technical solution enables the biometric data of aneye to be obtained in a highly reliable and highly precise manner, even under difficultconditions. Furthermore, keratometric and/or pachymetric measurements canalso be carried out. The combination of different measuring systems enablesa complete examination or diagnosis of a patient on a measuring table, so thatthe patient does not need to be moved, or have to come back at a later date for moremeasurements.
