PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle for a fishing reel and a plate for the handle which can improve strength and design of an arm part, and can use the arm part as a shared part.SOLUTION: A handle 10 includes an arm part 11 connected to a handle shaft of a reel body 1 via a screw member 5. The handle 10 includes a plate attached to the arm part 11. The plate includes a first plate 20 provided around an outer periphery of the screw member 5. The plate includes a second plate 30 superposed over the first plate 20 and provided around the outer periphery of the screw member 5.
