PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peptide effective for inhibiting neovascularization and treating and preventing diseases mediated by the neovascularization.SOLUTION: A peptide induces cytotoxic T cell (CTL) against endothelial cells endogenously expressing a vascular endothelial cell growth factor (VEGF) and a VEGF receptor (VEGFR), can induce a strong and specific immune response to the vascular endothelial cell of a disease site accompanying abnormal neovascularization, has applicability to wide kinds of diseases mediated by the neovascularization, and is useful as a peptide vaccine for diseases mediated by the neovascularization related to VEGFR2.【課題】血管新生の阻害ならびに血管新生により媒介される疾患の治療および予防に有効なペプチドの提供。【解決手段】内因的に血管内皮増殖因子（VEGF）およびVEGF受容体（VEGFR）を発現する内皮細胞に対し、細胞傷害性T細胞（CTL）を誘導するペプチド。【効果】異常な血管新生を伴う疾患部位の血管内皮細胞に対して、強力かつ特異的な免疫応答を誘導することができ、血管新生により媒介される幅広い種類の疾患に対する適用性を有しVEGFR2に関連した血管新生により媒介される疾患に対するペプチドワクチンとして有用。【選択図】なし
