The present disclosure relates to a method for non-invasive determination of a hemodynamic parameter of a mechanically ventilated subject (3) based on a point in time (thb) of a heartbeat of the subject and an arrival point in time (tarr_pulm) at which a blood pressure pulse caused by the heartbeat reaches the lungs of the subject. The method comprises the steps of measuring (S31) a respiratory pressure and/or a respiratory flow, and determining (S33) the arrival point in time (tarr_pulm) from a change in the measured respiratory pressure and/or the respiratory flow resulting from a change in lung volume caused by the arrival of the blood pressure pulse to the lungs of the subject.La présente invention concerne un procédé pour la détermination non invasive d'un paramètre hémodynamique chez un sujet ventilé mécaniquement (3) sur la base d'un instant (thb) d'un battement cardiaque du sujet et de l'instant d'arrivée (tarr_pulm) d'une pulsation de pression artérielle provoquée par le battement cardiaque au niveau des poumons du sujet. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à mesurer (S31) la pression respiratoire et/ou le flux respiratoire et à déterminer (S33) l'instant d'arrivée (tarr_pulm) à partir d'une modification de la pression respiratoire et/ou du flux respiratoire mesuré résultant d'une modification du volume pulmonaire provoqué par l'arrivée de la pulsation de pression artérielle au niveau des poumons du sujet.
