PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exercise support system enabling a user to learn correct exercise.SOLUTION: The exercise support system 1 includes, in a control device 5, an exercise detecting part 51 detecting a change in lateral load distribution associated with the exercise of the user 2 based on the result measured by a measuring device 4, and a position detecting part 55 detecting the positions of the right and left shoulder parts of the user 2 from a distance image obtained by a distance image sensor 6. A shift amount detecting part 56 detects an inclination from a horizontal plane of a straight line that connects both right and left shoulder parts, as a shift amount based on the detected shoulder positions. An evaluation part 57 evaluates whether the exercise is correctly performed, using the change in load distribution detected by the exercise detecting part 51 and the shift amount detected by the shift amount detecting part 56.
