PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming an end of a fiberscope with thin diameter, preventing an object surface of an object lens from being polished for preventing deterioration of optical characteristics of the object lens.

SOLUTION: In a fixing process, an inner tube 5 and a light guide fiber 1 having hollow cylindrical form are put together along the length, adhesive agent is applied for a predetermined length, and they are inserted to an outer component 3 to be fixed. In a polishing process, chips of the light guide fiber 1 and the inner tube 5 protruded from the outside component 3 are polished perpendicularly to the length direction. In an insertion process, an image fiber 7 as the object lens 9 connected to the inner tube 5 is inserted after polishing.
