The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a pill comprising herbal material as a main component by extracting with hot water and fermenting the same, and a pill manufactured by the method. The pill comprising the herbal material extract manufactured by the method of the present invention: has high content of useful components of herbal materials in pills by inhibiting loss or degradation of useful components in the extraction process of useful components of herbal materials； can be stored for a long period time by delaying corruption of pills； costs less for manufacturing since the extraction process is simple； can be sufficiently absorbed in stomach by rapidly disintegrating in the stomach after ingestion since the pill is coated with Chinese yam powder, thereby is easy to carry and consume, and shortens the disintegration time； and is less objectionable for weak patients, children, and elderly to eat by suppressing stimulation of stomach due to pharmacological components of the herbal material.본 발명은 한방재료를 주성분으로 하여 열수추출하고 이를 발효시켜 환을 제조하는 방법 및 상기 방법으로 제조되는 환에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 따른 방법으로 제조된 한방재료 추출물을 함유하는 환은 한방재료의 유용성분 추출과정에서 유용성분이 유실되거나 분해되는 것이 억제되므로 환에 한방재료의 유용성분 함유량이 높으며, 환의 부패가 지연되어 장기간 보관이 가능하고 추출과정이 간단하므로 제조비용이 적게 소요되며, 또한 마가루로 코팅되어 휴대 및 섭취가 용이하고 붕해시간이 단축되므로 섭취 후 위에서 신속히 붕해되어 한방재료에 함유된 인체 유용성분이 위에서 충분히 흡수될 수 있으며, 한방재료의 약리성분에 의한 위의 자극이 억제되므로 위장이 약한 병약자나 소아, 노약자가 섭취하는데 거부감이 줄어든다.
