ABSTRACT AN ESOPHAGEAL VIDEO ENDOSCOPE An esophageal video endoscope (100) comprising a tube (102) having a distal end (104) and a proximal end (106), a plurality of metallic rods (108) reinforced within the tube (102), a double suction port (112), a plurality of metallic rings (114) disposed within the tube (102) and a detachable telescope (116) connected to the proximal end (106). The tube (102) further extends into a plurality of canals interconnected with each other for suction and injection at the proximal end (106).The distal end (104) and the proximal end (106) of the tube (102) are provided with metallic rims (118). The metallic rims (118) and the plurality of metallic rings (114) are coupled with the plurality of metallic rods (108). Further, the double suction port (112) assists in suction and injection of a fluid while visualizing a site in a body though the detachable telescope (116). [Fig. 1]
