The present invention relates to wetness indicator compositions that comprise at least one leuco dye and one color developer in a hot-melt adhesive matrix. Upon contact with water or with water- containing fluids, said wetness indicator compositions are apt to change their color from a colorless state to a colorful state or from a first colored state to a second colored state having a color different from the first one in particular, from a first colorless, white, or translucent state to a second state having a visible color, o vice versa. The disclosed wetness indicator compositions can be used as wetness/fluid indicators in various applications, e.g. in packaging articles and in absorbent articles in an absorbent mat or sheet or operatory cloth for medical use in a wound dressing product in an absorbent mat or sheet for food products.La présente invention concerne des compositions indicatrices dhumidité qui comprennent au moins un colorant leuco et un révélateur chromogène dans une matrice dadhésif thermofusible. Au contact de leau ou de fluides contenant de leau, lesdites compositions indicatrices dhumidité sont aptes à changer de couleur dun état incolore à un état coloré ou dun premier état coloré à un second état coloré ayant une couleur différente de la première en particulier, dun premier état incolore, blanc, ou translucide, à un second état ayant une couleur visible, ou vice versa. Lesdites compositions indicatrices dhumidité peuvent être utilisées comme des indicateurs dhumidité/fluide dans diverses applications, par exemple dans des articles demballage et dans des articles absorbants dans une couche ou un feuillet ou un textile opératoire absorbant à usage médical dans un pansement dans une couche ou un feuillet absorbant pour produits alimentaires.
