PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for interactively instructing a tomogram and displaying the tomogram by real-time photographing using an MRI apparatus. SOLUTION: When a modifier key is pressed, the tomogram 30 is displayed parallelly to a display screen 24 on the screen 24 and a guide image 32 is displayed superposed thereon. When the photographic cross section 27 is changed by a pointing device, the tomogram image 30 of the changed photographic cross section 27 and the guide image 32 projected in the direction of the cross section 27 are displayed. These instructing of the cross section 27 and displaying of the tomogram image 30 are repeated in real time. In a state where the modifier key is not pressed, only the tomogram image 30 of a higher quality is displayed.
