The present invention provides a method and an apparatus for shooting a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) image. The method for shooting a MRI image with an MRI device according to the present invention comprises: (a) a step of applying a gradient magnetic field for selecting a slice during a specific period of time to spatial-chemically move a first chemical species and a second chemical species which are different chemical species； a step of selecting a slice of the first chemical species disposed inside a target body as a result of the spatial chemical movement to excite the first chemical species； and (c) a step of using an image signal detected from the slice of the first chemical species to obtain an MRI image of the first chemical species. The specific period of time during which the gradient magnetic field is applied is set to dispose the slice of the first chemical species inside the target body and disposed a slice of the second chemical species outside the target body.자기 공명 영상 촬영 장치 및 방법이 제공된다. 본 발명의 자기 공명 영상 장치가 자기 공명 영상을 획득하는 방법은 (a) 특정 시간 동안 슬라이스 선택을 위한 경사 자장을 인가하여 서로 다른 화학종인 제 1 화학종과 제 2 화학종을 공간적 화학 이동시키는 단계, (b) 상기 공간적 화학 이동의 결과로 상기 피검체 내부에 위치한 제 1 화학종의 슬라이스를 선택하여, 상기 제 1 화학종을 자극(excitation)하는 단계 및 (c) 상기 제 1 화학종의 슬라이스로부터 검출된 영상 신호를 이용하여 상기 제 1 화학종의 자기 공명 영상을 획득하는 단계를 포함하되, 상기 경사 자장을 인가하는 특정 시간은 상기 제 1 화학종의 슬라이스가 상기 피검체 내부에 위치하고, 상기 제 2 화학종의 슬라이스가 상기 피검체 외부에 위치하도록 설정되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
