PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bandage which prevents the reproduction of bacteria on the skin surface or the like and for which the need of exchange can be easily sensed.SOLUTION: The bandage includes carboxyl alkylated cellulose fibers for which at least a part of a carboxyl alkyl radical is substituted with an antibacterial metal carboxyl alkyl radical on at least a part of the surface. For the bandage, it is preferable that L* by an L*a*b* color system after high pressure steam sterilization is +80 to +100, a* is -10 to +10 and b* is -10 to +10, and it is preferable that a color difference (&DeltaE*ab) by the L*a*b* color system after the high pressure steam sterilization is &le10.
