A novel subgenomic replicon RNA (nucleic acid) derived from HCV having a genotype 1b and excellent in autonomous replication ability and a full genome replicon RNA (nucleic acid) excellent in autonomous replication ability and infectious HCV particle production ability are provided. In particular, a subgenomic replicon RNA (nucleic acid) and a full genome replicon RNA (nucleic acid) derived from the HCV genome of the NC1 strain, which is a novel genotype 1b HCV isolated from an acute severe hepatitis C patient, are provided.新規な遺伝子型１ｂのＨＣＶ由来の、自律複製能の優れたサブゲノムレプリコンＲＮＡ（核酸）並びに、自律複製能及び感染性ＨＣＶ粒子産生能の優れたフルゲノムレプリコンＲＮＡ（核酸）を提供する。特に、急性重症Ｃ型肝炎患者から分離した新規な遺伝子型１ｂのＨＣＶであるＮＣ１株のＨＣＶゲノム由来の、サブゲノムレプリコンＲＮＡ（核酸）及びフルゲノムレプリコンＲＮＡ（核酸）を提供する。
