PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilling unit that eliminates drawbacks of the tilling with a plowshare and the tilling with a rotary blade, and increases efficiency of tilling by the interaction of the plowshare and the rotary blade.SOLUTION: A tilling unit 50 is mounted in a tractor and used, the tilling unit 50 that is constituted by incorporating a rotary tiller 1 having rotary blades 4 into a plowshare tiller 1 having plowshares 15A, ... 15D. The plowshare 15 has a receiving recess 20 in an intermediate part 17 toward one progress side 16, and is formed of wing blades 30, 30 horizontally fixed at the tip part 23. At the tip part 23, the wing blades 30, 30 are positioned downward from a lower end 6a of a rotation trajectory 6 of a rotary blade 4 and positioned to one progress side 61 rather than the end 6b of one progress side 61 of the rotation trajectory 6.
