The present invention relates to the field of biotechnology, and particularly relates to a bionematicide composition broad spectrum action on phytopathogenic nematodes which comprises one or more bacterial strains isolated from Chilean soil belonging to the genus Bacillus, and the method of use of this composition for the protection of plants against nematode attack.La invención se refiere a una composición bionematicida con acción de amplio espectro sobre nemátodos fitopatógenos pertenecientes los géneros Meloidogyne, Tylenchulus, Pratylenchus, Paratylenchus y Xiphinema entre otros, la cual se caracteriza por contener una o más cepas bacterianas formadoras de endosporas con actividad nematicida de Bacillus cereus cepa Peumo (NRRL B-50767), Bacillus cereus cepa Bromelia (NRRL B-50766) y Bacillus thuringiensis cepa Anemophyla (NRRL B-50765). La invención también se refiere a un método para el control de nemátodos fitopatógenos utilizando dicha composición.
