Disclosed herein are compounds of formula I, pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, and pharmaceutical compositions thereof. The compounds described herein are useful for inhibiting arginine methyltransferase activity. Methods of using such compounds to treat arginine methyltransferase mediated diseases are also disclosed.
