The present invention provides a composition for the treatment of ischemic disease or neuroinflammatory disease comprising secretory protein of neural progenitor cells (NPC) as an active ingredient. The secretory protein of neural progenitor cells of the present invention plays a role such as anti-inflammatory, neovascular regeneration, mobilization and proliferation of endogenous stem cells, and not only reduces the site of ischemic injury but also restores nerve function. It can be used as a therapeutic agent for ischemic disease and degenerative nervous system disease such as nerve damage caused by inflammation.
