PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe which is excellent in sensitivity and bandwidth expansion and is equipped with a composite piezoelectric layer high in durability and stability, an ultrasonic image diagnostic apparatus, and a method for manufacturing the ultrasonic probe.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic probe for outputting ultrasound on the basis of a received driving signal includes: a composite piezoelectric layer where a piezoelectric material and a polymer material are arranged by turns in a one-dimensional or two-dimensional array shape an acoustic reflection layer having higher acoustic impedance than acoustic impedance of the composite piezoelectric layer and an adhesion layer for joining the composite piezoelectric layer and the acoustic reflection layer.
