PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To radiate heat generated inside the probe connector of an ultrasonic probe in an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus.SOLUTION: The probe connector 18 is provided with connector side heat transmission plates 44 and an apparatus main body side is provided with main body side heat transmission plates 42. When mounting and locking the probe connector 18, the movement of a lock handle 56 is transmitted to the connector side heat transmission plate 44 by a transmission mechanism 50 comprising parallel links. The connector side heat transmission plates 44 move in the directions of separating from each other and are in surface contact with the main body side heat transmission plates 42 facing each other.
