PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mounting a greening device on cast-in-place concrete, and the greening device, which allow plants to surely grow and luxuriate even on a vertical wall surface of a concrete structure and a steep slope thereof, which can reduce not only manufacturing costs but also maintenance costs by dispensing with sprinkling equipment and maintenance such as pruning and weeding, and which facilitate the maintenance and management of moulding for vegetation because the scattering, outflow, etc., of the moulding are not caused on the vertical wall surface of the concrete structure and the steep slope thereof. SOLUTION: Characteristically, a lath form is framed in a state in which the side of a pointed end of a protrusive strip rib is directed outward; a mounting member with a bent piece for locking is spliced and fixed in such a manner that the side of the pointed end of the bent piece is protruded outward; the concrete is placed and solidified for the formation of the concrete structure; the moulding for a nursery, which has solidification properties and serves as a nursery for the plants for greening, is mounted; and a raising seedling mat, which is formed by raising the seedlings of the plants for the greening in a mat body including coconut shell fibers, is spliced and fixed to the moulding for the nursery.
