The present disclosure is directed to implants and methods for the treatment of ocular conditions such as macular edema, including diabetic macular edema ("DME"). The intraocular implant may include a corticosteroid drug and a biodegradable polymer associated with the corticosteroid drug to facilitate the release of the corticosteroid drug into the eye for a period of time. In some embodiments, the ocular condition, such as diabetic macular edema, comprises corticosteroids and biodegradable polymers associated with the corticosteroids at a frequency of about once every 6 months to about once a year. It can be treated by applying an intraocular implant containing it to the human eye.
