PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic water-supply flowerpot comprising a device designed so as to enable automatic supply of water for a long period of time, composed of a flowerpot and a water-storage tank separately to be a simple device, convenient for cleaning, creating and use, and efficiently supplying the flowerpot with water in the water-storage tank, by a method for automatically supply a flowerpot with water through utilizing capillarity. SOLUTION: The automatic water-supply flowerpot is composed of a flowerpot 1 and a water-storage tank 9 separately. The flowerpot 1 is charged with soil 3. The water is supplied to water-supply cloth 2 along the inner wall of the flowerpot 1 between the flowerpot 1 and the soil 3 to moisturize the water-supply cloth 2 and the soil 3 coming in contact with the water-supply cloth 2 to supply water to a plant 7 in the soil 3.
