PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily confirm which information is recorded as additional information during image recording in an image recording system for an electronic endoscope.SOLUTION: Additional information, such as patient information 28, date information 26, user information 27, and image processing information 29, is displayed at peripheral edge parts of an endoscope image 25 displayed on a monitor. During capture image acquisition due to a scope button operation, previously set additional information among these pieces of additional information is recorded together with a capture image of the endoscope image 25. The items (the patient information 28, the user information 27) of the additional information recorded together with the capture image of the endoscope image 25 are highlighted to clarify recording of the items together with the capture image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
