PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel for fishing which can obtain a smooth reversing operation of a bale support member even when an irregular and local frictional resistance is applied to the rotation support portion of the bale support member. SOLUTION: A bale support member 9 provided on a reel body and having a rotor that rotates in conjunction with a handle winding operation and having a fishing thread guide portion at the tip of an arm portion 3a of the rotor is set to a fishing thread winding position by a spring 20. In a spinning reel for fishing that is rotatably distributed and supported at a fishing thread discharge position, the rotary support portion that rotatably supports the arm portion 3a and the bale support member 9 is a flat surface and a protrusion protruding from the flat surface. A sliding body 50 in which the seat surface 51 and the tubular portion 52 are integrally formed is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the portion where the sliding is performed during rotation and the sliding is performed.
