The compression and/or support article, of the type comprising refrigerating means and of the type having a textile structure that includes complementary yarns in predetermined areas providing a function other than that of support and/or compression, is noteworthy in that it includes, in the areas intended to provide a refrigerating function, a plush loop textile structure placed inside the compression and/or support article on the skin side exclusively defining an insulating cushion effect on the inside of the structure, said plush-loop structure combining one or more fibres having a hydrophilic property, one or more fibres having a highly hydrophilic property and one or more fibres having a hydrophobic property, and in that the plush-loop structure thus produced makes it possible to absorb and store a source of refrigeration obtained by spraying a cryogenic fluid at the point of the relevant area or areas with the plush-loop structure.
