The laser head comprises an outer cap and an inner cap. The inner cap is connected to the outer cap and the inner cap is positioned partly within the outer cap. Thereby, the inner and outer cap form a heat channel which has an exhaust in-between the caps. The outer cap comprises one or more bores for one or more laser diodes. The inner cap comprises a neck connection part for interlocking with a body of a laser probe. The inner cap and the body form when connected an inlet channel which have an intake. The inner cap further comprises a centrally positioned ventilator for creating a flow from the inlet channel through the heat channel.
