Fixing boot (1) for equine animals with an open shape in its rear part comprising:- a raised part (2) forming the vamp and the front end of the boot, its inner part contacting with the outer part of the sides of the animal hoof, and comprising at least one opening (11) and optionally at least one notch (13),- a sole (3) comprising at least one suction-shaped relief (5) on the face contacting with the equine hoof,- fixing means for fixing the boot to the equine.
