PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a device, a method and a program for generating a mapping image to accurately show the condition of a cartilage, the device, the method and the program being used for generating a mapping image obtained by mapping a functional image on a morphology image showing a joint.SOLUTION: An area extraction part 22 extracts a cartilage area from a morphology image G0. A positioning part 23 performs positioning between the morphology image G0 and a functional image F0. A mapping part 24 generates a mapping image M0 obtained by mapping the functional image F0 on the morphology image G0.
