A catheter tip (10) has a front face (26) and a rear face (20), which rear face (20) can be fitted onto a catheter (24). The catheter tip (10) has two layers (12, 12') lying substantially cylindrically one inside the other, with a thin intermediate connecting layer (14). The catheter tip (10) preferably comprises at least one free lumen (18) for introduction of a liquid and/or gaseous medium. In addition, the catheter tip (10) preferably has a curved protuberance (15) and/or a helical structure (12.1, 12.2) wound around the catheter tip (10) and/or one or more radiopaque markers (30).
