THE PRESENT INVENTION AIMS TO PROVIDE A PANT-TYPE WEARING ARTICLE ALLOWING FASTENERS USED TO CONNECT FRONT AND REAR WAIST REGIONS WITH EACH OTHER TO BE ENGAGED WITH AND DISENGAGED FROM EACH OTHER IN A REPETITIVE MANNER. OF FRONT AND REAR WAIST REGIONS (6, 7), AT LEAST ONE WAIST REGION, FOR EXAMPLE, THE FRONT WAIST REGION IS FORMED IN ITS TRANSVERSELY OPPOSITE LATERAL ZONES (11) WITH INELASTIC REGIONS (51) BEING NEITHER ELASTICALLY STRETCHABLE NOR ELASTICALLY CONTRACTIBLE IN A WAISTLINE DIRECTION (R). THESE INELASTIC REGIONS ARE PROVIDED WITH FIRST FASTENER MEMBERS (12) SELECTED FROM THE FIRST FASTENER MEMBERS AND SECOND FASTENER MEMBERS (12, 14). THE FRONT WAIST REGION IS FURTHER FORMED INSIDE THE RESPECTIVE INELASTIC REGIONS AS VIEWED IN THE WAISTLINE DIRECTION WITH A PLURALITY OF FILM-LIKE JOINTS (91) DEFINED BY INTEGRATED SHEET MEMBERS (2, 3) FORMING THE LATERAL ZONES.
