PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe, in which the elongation quantity of a wire for transmitting the driving force of a motor due to an aging is suppressed to reduce the distortion (degradation) of a three-dimensional ultrasonic image.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic probe 1 comprises: a vibrator unit 50 having a vibrator for transmitting and receiving an ultrasonic wave a motor 120 (drive means) for generating a driving force to oscillate the vibrator unit 50 a wire 140 formed by twisting a plurality of wires to transmit the driving force of the motor 120 thereby to oscillate the vibrator unit 50 and a casing 10 containing the vibrator unit 50, the motor 120 and the wire 140 therein. The wire 140 is positioned between the vibrator nit 50 and the motor 120 and having a processing region, in which a processing for suppressing the twist of the wire is applied to the portion to move in a linear state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
