According to the present invention, adhesion prevention gel is a gel-type adhesion prevention agent which comprises carboxymethyl chitosan as a main ingredient. The adhesion prevention gel has a proper viscosity and proper chitosan content to have the optimal residence time in the body for treating a wound, generates a physical protection film with a blood cell promotion effect of chitosan and mucous adhesive properties. The adhesion prevention gel is adsorbed to an irregular surface of a wound in an easy manner and thus is effective to prevent adhesion. The adhesion prevention gel can be applied to the inside of a human body by using a syringe or the like after surgery and can be used in an easy manner for a narrow portion of the human body which has been difficult to apply an existing adhesion prevention agent.
