The present invention is directed to a topical skin care composition. The composition has the unique ability to treat acne without drying out the users skin. In particular, the composition includes a base, an antibacterial agent, at least one anti-inflammatory agent, and at least one antioxidant. The antibacterial agent may be benzoyl peroxide.
