The present invention proposes a base and a lift having the base. The base has a connecting portion, two front legs, two rear legs and a pedal assembly. The two front legs are respectively pivoted at both ends of the connecting portion and extend to the front side. The two rear legs are respectively fixed at both ends of the connecting portion and extend to the rear side. A pedal assembly is coupled to the two front legs. Thereby, by connecting the front leg of the base to the pedal assembly, the pedal assembly can directly operate the front stand to pivot open or resume, but does not pivot the rear stand. Therefore, in the operation, the rear leg holder will maintain the original distance without hindering the operator standing on the rear side of the lifter, and the center of gravity of the lift can be kept fixed to prevent the lifter from falling over.本創作提出一種基座及具有該基座的移位機。該基座具有一連接部、二前腳架、二後腳架以及一踏板組件。二前腳架分別樞設於該連接部兩端並向前側延伸。二後腳架分別固設於連接部兩端並向後側延伸。一踏板組件連接於二前腳架。藉此透過使基座的前腳架連接於踏板組件，而使踏板組件能直接操作前腳架樞轉張開或回復，但不會使後腳架樞轉靠攏。因此，本創作於操作時後腳架仍會保持原有的距離，而不會妨礙到站在移位機的後側的操作者，也能保持移位機的重心固定，避免移位機傾倒。
