PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope treatment instrument in which, when an insertion part is inserted into a channel of an endoscope and used, force to draw back an operation shaft member is efficiently transmitted to a distal end side.SOLUTION: An endoscope treatment instrument 40 includes: a soft sheath 51 which can be inserted into a channel 11 of an endoscope 10 an operation shaft member 52 inserted into the sheath movably forward and backward a treatment part which is attached to a distal end part of the sheath and is connected to the operation shaft member and can compress the sheath in a direction of an axis C of the sheath when the operation shaft member is moved to a proximal end side and an operation part provided on the proximal end part of the sheath, for moving the operation shaft member forward and backward.
