PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a model gum for dental model and the like for conducting practical training relevant to a periodontal pocket.SOLUTION: A jaw model 1 comprises: model teeth 10 molded by imitating the shape of teeth and having a crown part 11 and a root part 12 an abutment 20 formed with, along the dentition, insert holes where the lower part 14 of the root part 12 can be inserted and a flexible model gum 30 whose external surface is molded by imitating the shape of the surface of the gums and having an inside wall 32 formed with, along the dentition, through-holes that the upper part 13 of the root part 12 can pass through. The insert hole and the through-hole are connected with each other, and the upper part 13 of the model tooth 10 is made to pass through the through-hole and the lower part 14 is inserted into the insert hole.
