An HMD headset device of the present invention includes: an electroencephalogram sensor to obtain an electroencephalogram (EEG) signal of a user； a gravity sensor to sense gravity； a gyro sensor to detect azimuth changes； a display unit to display an image signal； and a control unit which obtains information about the eye blinking of the user by analyzing the EEG signal, obtains information about a user head motion through the gravity sensor and the gyro sensor, and controls to perform a click operation and the movement of a cursor, which is an input point displayed on the display unit, by using the eye blinking information and the head motion information. The present invention has an effect of contributing to user convenience by controlling the content of the HMD headset device without using hands by using the EEG signal.본 발명의 HMD 헤드셋 장치는 사용자의 뇌전도(EEG, electro-encephalogram) 신호를 획득하기 위한 뇌전도 센서, 중력을 감지하기 위한 중력 센서, 방위 변화를 감지하기 위한 자이로 센서, 영상 신호를 디스플레이하기 위한 디스플레이부 및 상기 뇌전도 신호를 분석하여 사용자의 눈 깜빡임에 대한 정보를 얻고, 상기 중력 센서 및 자이로 센서를 통해 사용자 머리 움직임에 대한 정보를 얻고, 상기 눈 깜빡임 정보와 상기 머리 움직임 정보를 이용하여 상기 디스플레이부에 표시되는 입력 포인트인 커서의 이동과 클릭 동작을 실행하도록 제어하는 제어부를 포함한다.본 발명에 의하면, 뇌전도 신호를 이용하여 손을 사용하지 않고, HMD 헤드셋 장치의 컨텐츠를 제어할 수 있으므로, 사용자의 편의에 기여한다는 효과가 있다.
