The present invention addresses the problem of providing a method for producing transgenic cells whereby a gene can be efficiently transferred into a number of arbitrary cells regardless of the kinds of cells, in particular, even into human primary cells. According to the present invention, provided is a method for producing transgenic cells, said method comprising a step for contacting in vitro (i) a virus containing a chimeric protein of an antibody-binding protein with vesicular stomatitis virus G (VSV-G) protein and a foreign gene with (ii) target cells and an antibody specific to the target cells and/or target cells containing a membrane-type antibody so that the target cells are infected with the virus in vitro.L'invention a pour objet de fournir un procédé de fabrication de cellules transgéniques qui permet d'induire selon un rendement satisfaisant un gène, y compris dans le cas de nombreuses cellules arbitraires quelque soit leur type, et tout particulièrement dans le cas de cellules primaires humaines.
