A biasing assembly for use in a substance delivery device, the substance delivery device comprising a container arranged to contain or carry the substance to be delivered, a body arranged to house or hold the container, and a shroud (132) for shrouding a portion of the container and/or at least a portion of a needle connected to the container, wherein the container and the shroud are movable, with respect to the body, between respective proximal and distal positions, the biasing assembly comprising a biasing means (500) for biasing the shroud (132) and the container with respect to each other, and at least one of said shroud and said container, wherein the biasing means (500) is integrally formed with said at least one of said shroud (132) and said container.
