Provided is a microcapsule, comprising an agglomeration of primary microcapsules and a loading substance, each individual primary microcapsule having a primary shell, wherein the loading substance is encapsulated by the primary shell, wherein the agglomeration is encapsulated by an outer shell, wherein the primary and outer shell is a complex coacervate of two polymer components and wherein the primary shell, the outer shell, or both comprise an additional composition comprising a saccharide selected from the group consisting of glucose, fructose, galactose, arabinose, ribose, ribulose, xylose, mannose, xylulose, sucrose, lactose, cellobiose, sorbose, cellotriose, trehalose, maltose, raffinose, maple syrup, honey, corn syrup, xylitol, sorbitol, isomalt, and glucosamine, and wherein the loading substance is from about 50% to about 70% by weight of the microcapsule
