Provided are methods and compositions for preventing, reducing, mitigating and treating pain, particularly neuropathic pain by the combined administration of an agent that increases EETs and an agent that reduces/inhibits endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress. In one aspect, provided are methods of preventing, reducing, ameliorating, mitigating, inhibiting and/or reversing pain in a subject in need thereof. In some embodiments, the methods comprise co-administering to the subject an agent that increases the production and/or level of epoxygenated fatty acids and an inhibitor of endoplasmic reticulum stress. In varying embodiments, the pain comprises inflammatory pain. In varying embodiments, the pain comprises neuropathic pain.Linvention concerne des méthodes et des compositions visant à prévenir, réduire, atténuer et traiter la douleur, en particulier la douleur neuropathique, par ladministration combinée dun agent qui augmente les EET et dun agent qui réduit/inhibe le stress du réticulum endoplasmique.
