PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope which prevents breakage of an optical fiber and deterioration of optical transmission performance even when a tensile stress is applied from an insertion part side to the optical fiber for guiding light emitted by a light emitting element to a tip of the insertion part.SOLUTION: An endoscope includes: an insertion part 5 inserted into an observation object a light emitting element an optical fiber 35 for guiding emission light which the light emitting element emits to the insertion part 5 and an optical fiber support member 95 provided between the insertion part 5 and the light emitting element and having a main surface 96 for winding and supporting the optical fiber 35. The optical fiber support member 95 includes a plurality of first guides protruding from the main surface 96. The plurality of first guides include fiber engaging pieces protruding toward a central side of the main surface 96 respectively. The plurality of first guides support the wound optical fiber 35 by surrounding it along the main surface 96.
