PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable absorbent article in which an absorber is not easily crushed even in a state where the body pressure of a wearer is applied, discharged body fluid is spread to an abdominal side part and a back side part as a result, and the body fluid does not easily leak out.SOLUTION: The disposable absorbent article includes a liquid permeable surface sheet for passing the body fluid, a liquid impermeable back surface side sheet for not passing the body fluid, and an absorber interposed between them, and absorbing the body fluid passing through the surface sheet. In the disposable absorbent article, the absorber has an upper layer absorber and a lower layer absorber arranged under the upper absorber, the upper layer absorber is provided along the longitudinal direction over at least the longitudinal center of a crotch part, and the lower layer absorber is provided wider than the upper layer absorber. In the lower layer absorber, a hole part or a groove part opened upwards is formed extending in the longitudinal direction, under the upper layer absorber. In at least the crotch part of the upper layer absorber, an elastic body for contracting the upper layer absorber is provided along the longitudinal direction.
